We love Brooklyn, particularly Prospect Park and the neighborhoods around it, and we called that area home for many years. We still visit as much as we can, and we were thrilled when Shelby and Cory wanted to do their engagement photos there.
The combination of brownstones, autumn foliage, early morning park vistas, and beautiful light was magic.
They met in grad school and started dating. During the early days of Covid, Cory would ride his bike across the bridge to Manhattan to avoid taking the subway to go see her.
This was one of those sessions where everything aligned - the weather, the light, the couple, the empty streets - and we were so honored they trusted us to capture this time in their lives :)
We were especially grateful they were up for a longer session so we could hit every corner and favorite block in the neighborhood.
