“I cannot say enough great things about Laurel & Brian. I booked them both for a proposal and engagement shoot in Bar Harbor, ME a bit last minute since after I unfortunately had an unexpected drop out. I wished I had found them from the very start given how professional they were.
Not only did they get back to me in record time but I spoke with Brian on the phone at first and he took the time to put me at ease and walk me through the process. When I followed up over email, Laurel made amazing suggestions on where the best spots are along the Shore Path and pictures/tips on where to stand. They were also able to accommodate and be flexible with times which I had trouble with previously with the other photographers I spoke with.

Coming into a shoot can provide its own set of anxieties (I.e. Where do you want us to shoot, what photos do you want us to take?) particularly for people who don't have professional photos taken of them often. But working with these two was very easy and location spots turned out beautifully.
I've also worked with other photographers that are focused on basic, standard shots and just tying to get the job done, but we had a great time with Laurel and Brian improvising and creating some unique photos - in my opinion these ones are always the best.

"Awesome photographers! We had a family photo shoot with them in October. I love how they can get multiple angles with both Laurel and Brian shooting at the same time. Some of our favorite shots were the ones that they took while we weren't posing. They were able to capture the relationships we have with our children through those un-posed shots--often by capturing the things we were doing between shots. In all our own photo taking, we had never been able to capture those relationships. Looking through the photo album from our session, I thought "so that is how I look at my daughter"--that's pretty cool to have that captured forever.
