Other Offerings

Photography Lessons

We love doing private photography lessons, and we're happy to focus on whatever areas of photography you'd like to learn.  Our blended online/in-person package includes a 1/2 hour online initial consult, a 90 minute in-person lesson, and then a final 1/2 hour online follow up for $250.  

We also offer an online-only package that's perfect for the busy person or anyone who lives outside of our travel radius (Mount Desert Island or certain dates in Brooklyn).  The online-only package includes the 1/2 hour online initial consult and a 1/2 hour follow up consult for $150.  

Remote Sessions

If you’re not in one of our shooting areas, please reach out about scheduling a remote photo shoot.

Longer Sessions

If you're interested in a longer session, such as a multi-hour event or a shoot with multiple locations, we're happy to accommodate!  The session rate for shoots over one hour is $150 per half hour. Digitals are available a la carte or in the bundles listed above for 5, 10, and 25 images. The full gallery digitals pricing is an additional $100 per half hour.

Travel Fees

We shoot around Mount Desert Island, Maine year-round, and in Brooklyn NY and Winchester MA at certain times throughout the year. For sessions that require specific travel, certain travel fees may apply.

Photo Edits

We believe everyone should have access to photography, so we keep our rates as reasonable as possible.  We’re able to do so by maximizing the time spent behind the camera and minimizing the time spent editing images at the computer.  The only post-processing we do is to make small adjustments (if necessary) for color, exposure, cropping, and highlights, which means you're not paying extra for our photo-editing time or expensive post-processing software.  We don’t offer retouching options that will make you look like a different person in a different setting.  

We can do minor skin retouching upon request, and are happy to do so free of charge on two images of your choice.  Minor skin retouching on additional images is $5 per image.  We’re happy to discuss photo recompositions on a case-by-case basis for $25 per image.

Cancellation Policy

We ask for the session fee in order to save the date and time. Cancellations made at least 7 days ahead of time will receive a full refund of the session fee. Cancellations made between 24 hours and 7 days before the start time will receive a refund of 50% of the session fee. We’re unable to offer any refund for cancellations made within 24 hours of the session.

Weather:

Sessions will meet as planned on cloudy days or days where there’s a chance of light rain.

In the event of weather that will impact the shoot (heavy rain, high winds, etc.), we’ll be in touch as soon as possible to discuss rescheduling. If rescheduling is not an option, we will offer you the chance to meet anyway (assuming it’s safe!) or receive a full refund.
