Aaron had it all planned out - he was going to propose to Nikki as they walked along the shore in Bar Harbor at sunset then head to dinner nearby to celebrate. He’d been talking with a photographer and thought everything was set…until the photographer backed out five days out… When he reached out we wanted to help, so we talked through a plan that would work for him, scouted a great location, and filled him in on a plan that would hopefully not raise Nikki’s suspicions.
We found a spot where we’d have a view of the proposal, a beautiful backdrop, and be somewhat hidden behind some bushes… We agreed on a signal so that he’d know we were in place and ready. The moment went exactly as planned!
One of our favorite moments of proposal shoots is always when the surprised fiance finally spots us and realizes we’d been there all along. Nikki’s reaction when she spotted us was priceless :)
